Dominik Lambersy — Co-Founder
You will see me post daily about three things. 1- how companies can adopt to competition on AI scale, 2- stupid mistakes I hope fellow entrepreneurs can learn from 3- how students can navigate a new era where AI feels frightening, but actually is your biggest opportunity. -- I have observed Fortune 500 customer 3x their account within 12 months and learning with us, while EU champions are blocking themselves in a carousel of seperate security, privacy and AI ethics discussions for 12 months. Observing employees wanting change and educating themselves, but being blocked by corporate overhead. -- Fun fact: Dominik was born and raised in the festival tents of german funfairs and somehow fell in love with tech startups. Dominik started building his ties in the European startup ecosystem in 2014. He organized large entrepreneurial conferences, worked in a growth-stage Consumer Tech startups, consulted corporates about innovation and lean product development, bootstrapped a first business around selling automation services, invested into AI and enterprise startups at a leading European VC up until building the Grammarly for text creation in his next venture. Academically, he made a 180° turn from being a business school student to developing his technical skill in a data science master’s from Imperial College London. A short overview of achievements: - built an automated VC startup sourcing system keeping track of high potential founders and organisations. (9000 companies tracked -> 3 Term Sheets in 2020) - bootstrapped a business from automating social media interactions for clients (financed my Master studies) - consulted German corporations around innovation and tech trends with my former (Clients included Commerzbank, Vereinskammer Bayern, STRABAG, Lilly MedTech) - organized (now mentoring) an entrepreneurial congress for several years now (600 participants / year) - worked in a super-fast growing Consumer Tech startup in London (established offline data acquisition in 5 german cities) - turned around the recycling industry to find product-market fit for a computer vision tool (TechCrunch Disrupt TopPicks 2019) - coming from a background of taking as much responsibility as possible in the family business (5000 people beer tent events) Furthermore, if you: - have a good book recommendation - work on a new challenge - look for a brain sparring partner just shoot me a message. I am curious to listen to your story. Welcome and enjoy the "scroll-down".
