About

At 2.5 years old, my family moved from El Salvador to San Francisco. Like many immigrant stories, the transition was tough. From navigating a new culture and language to facing financial hardships, I learned early on that I’d have to fight for every opportunity. I quickly became a translator for my mom and our community, helping bridge the gap between two worlds. I learned how to navigate complex systems from an early age — the same skills that have shaped my career and passion for bridging communities and business. With over 20 years of experience across corporate, public, and nonprofit sectors, I’ve focused on initiating high-impact investments that accelerate the success of under-resourced entrepreneurs. At Wells Fargo, I co-designed the $420MM Open for Business Fund, supporting over 336,000 small businesses, and played a key role in launching numerous funds and investment vehicles that facilitate access to capital for market segments that have remained highly underserved. In 2024, I left Wells Fargo to take my mission to the next level. I launched the AMH Catalyst Center to reimagine the venture capital landscape, making it more accessible for women entrepreneurs. We’re using cutting-edge tech like AI and blockchain to break down barriers and create lasting change. Inspired by my daughter Angie, who started her own business during the pandemic, I co-founded AMH to ensure that future generations of women entrepreneurs have the opportunities they need to thrive and build. My mission is simple: break down barriers, build bridges, and create a venture capital system where everyone—especially women—has access to the resources they need to succeed.

  • AMH Catalyst Center is the launchpad for early-stage ventures that are changing the world.
  • We are redefining how women-led businesses access capital by transforming how venture funding works. Instead of simply connecting female founders to existing systems, we are reimagining the rules—changing how women find investment, how risk is assessed for women-led ventures, and how fund managers get access to deal flow. Using cutting-edge AI, we are building tailored advisory services designed for female founders, ensuring they have the insights, tools, and strategies to scale successfully. We are using blockchain to create more venture transparency and help make funding more accessible. We're not just working within the system—we're building a better one.
  • While our platform welcomes all, our expertise is tailored to unleash the full ambitions of women entrepreneurs.
