I'm a product-focused executive with 25 years of experience building, scaling, and leading world-class design and engineering teams to deliver category-defining products. Co-founder of Play, leading product strategy and operations, go-to-market & sales, and company business operations. I have a track record of hiring and leading high-performing designers and engineers from early stage through growth. Deep experience operating at the intersection of design, technology, AI, and business, with hands-on leadership across product design & development, product marketing, and business operations. Before starting Play with my cofounders, I was the CEO of award-winning design & technology agency Firstborn. We ran a very profitable business doing work we were really proud of and our clients loved. 10x revenue, grew the team to 100, and led us through our acquisition to Dentsu. Throughout my career, I've led multiple companies to industry recognition, including being named to Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies (3x) list, earning an Apple Design Award for Innovation, and building organizations recognized for excellence in culture and leadership, including multiple appearances on Crain’s Best Places to Work (4x). Outside of work, I focus on family, fitness, and service. My wife and I try to create as many moments of adventure with our two sons, cook good food, and enjoy it with people we love. My biggest hobby outside of work is being a volunteer firefighter in the town we live in.
