About

I am a healthcare and life sciences technology leader with 20 years of experience operating at the intersection of biopharma, enterprise technology, and cloud. My career spans commercial leadership roles at AbbVie and Shire and enterprise platform roles at DocuSign, AWS, and now Amazon Pharmacy, where I focus on building and scaling partnerships that modernize clinical and operational workflows. I bring a unique ability to connect life sciences, providers, and technology platforms to drive measurable business and patient outcomes. Across my career, I have led product launches, built and scaled platform-based solutions, and developed strategic partnerships that accelerate speed to therapy, improve access, reduce cost, and increase revenue. My work has centered on translating complex healthcare and life sciences challenges into scalable, technology-enabled solutions, including workflow automation, real-time benefit intelligence, and integrated care delivery models. I consistently operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, aligning cross-functional teams across product, engineering, commercial, and partner organizations to deliver outcomes at scale. I am particularly focused on the next wave of transformation driven by data, AI, and platform ecosystems.

  • Recognizing the need to reach patients through non-traditional channels, a top-5 biopharmaceutical manufacturer sought AWS's partnership developing tech-based solutions aimed at increasing patient access and awareness to COVID-19 therapeutics and diagnostics. I brought together members of Andy Jassy’s S-Team, the White House, and both Amazon Health and Alexa Health, and led the effort building two innovative COVID-19 patient engagement solutions. The first was an Alexa skill leveraging API's made available by the White House enabling real-time vaccine inventory determination based on a user’s geolocation. The second deployed 35 Alexa disease-awareness utterances, including “Alexa, is there a pill for COVID?”.
  • Led a digital transformation initiative for a top-20 biopharmaceutical manufacturer, developing a roadmap using AWS services to achieve a zero-rep footprint and create a self-service HCP hub. I led a workshop with the client's country GMs using Amazon's working backwards methodology, identified and mapped 30 high-impact use cases across HCP, consumer, and supply chain segments. I successfully guided the country GMs through use case prioritization and implementation planning, resulting in a $10M contract commitment.
  • Managed technical, business, and product development for a project building a cloud based patient services enrollment mechanism for a top-5 global biopharmaceutical manufacturer.

  • Led the deployment of a cloud-based hub services portal in key health systems, increasing program utilization by 378% during time in role.
  • In 2017, I received the Business Partner of the Year and Patient as the North Star awards, recognizing business growth and contributions to patient-centric initiatives. The latter stemmed from a partnership I spearheaded with a not for profit patient advocacy organization creating an annual patient education conference. The goal was reaching populations disproportionately affected by Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, and improving patient health outcomes through education and community outreach. In its inaugural year, the organization saw the program drive a 188% increase in new patient engagement compared to the prior year.
