I still remember how uncomfortable I felt during my first cold call. I had a script in front of me, but none of it felt natural. What I think helped me was curiosity. Those roles taught me how to communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and handle chaos without losing clarity. When I moved into business development, everything started to make sense. The systems thinking from operations, the people skills from HR, they all came together. Now at Growthic, I work with founders and brands to start meaningful conversations.
