We are building one of India’s first venture studios dedicated to deep-tech and deep-science climate startups. At NOW Venture Studio, we co-build and back ventures tackling some of the hardest-to-abate sectors—cement, steel, advanced materials, energy systems, and the built environment—by aligning science, policy, capital, and entrepreneurial talent. Our mission is rooted in the urgency of the climate crisis and the unique opportunity emerging markets present. We work with partners to de-risk innovation deployment in South Asia, leveraging access to local infrastructure, talent networks, and real-world pilots. We operate through three distinct tracks: • Build with NOW: We co-create and co-invest in startups, with an initial focus on decarbonizing the steel industry and other industrial systems. • NOW Accelerate: For entrepreneurs with early-stage ideas in areas like advanced materials, energy efficiency, or climate-smart infrastructure, we provide strategic support, capital, and deep domain expertise. • NOW Invest: We invest early in founders and technologies that align with our vision for a low-carbon future—amplifying the ecosystem through catalytic capital.
