I manage Operations for Formulations and API across Zydus Lifesciences' entire manufacturing footprint. I also manage the API B2B business & its P&L including Sales responsibilities. I am driven by the belief that Learning Agility & Formative Experiences shape a leader. The foundation for both is a keen desire to keep learning & challenging oneself, taking risks and building teams that perform better than oneself. I am a part of Zydus Senior Leadership Team. I have led Global Supply Chain, Global IT, Global HR, Group Corporate Communications in my previous roles at Zydus. At Zydus, I led the creation of a Global Supply Chain team that produced benchmark results in agility, delivery and inventory. I also managed IT alongside Supply Chain focusing on business driven application development and led implementation of SAP at Global Sites. I lead PRISM, a global project focused on cost optimization as well as SLIM, an Operations focused initiative on Lean & Six Sigma.   • I managed the Global HR footprint for Zydus. This meant engaging with 19000 talented resources across our global offices, employee relations across 40+ countries and 20+ global manufacturing sites.
  • Our focus is building people to build our business. We co-created with our leadership team a strong talent pipeline, and incorporatied best-in-class Outside-In People practices. Zydus was the first non-IT organization in India to move to Recruiting at all levels through holistic Assessment Centers. This was an ambitious move and is aligned with our commitment to build scientific and fair processes for managing talent through its life-cycle. We built unprecedented traction with our business leaders in the area of using our Competency Framework, called Zydus NEEV, as the foundation for all our talent management practices. We are committed to ensure that Neev does not just remain a poster on the wall but the organization breathes it.
  • Zydus is going through very exciting times. We were able to facilitate the organization through big strides in talent processes. This included structuring the organization on the basis of roles and moving away from a titular hierarchy. Identifying behavioral inflection points and promoting people on the basis of scientific assessments and development journeys preparing them for the next behavioral layer.
  • Strong investments were made in developing people along the Competency Framework through highly customized interventions followed by application workshops. At the same time, leaders were nourished in General Management Knowledge through partnerships with institutions like IIM-A. Honored to share that IIM-A is writing 2 case studies on Zydus on HR transformation.
  • Zydus is working on creating a leadership team combining the best of in-house talent and transitioning top-notch talent from outside. This creates fantastic cross-learning opportunities for the organization.
