Yotam Rosenbaum — Co-Founder
I am a Y Combinator founder (Earbits, W11) with an exit and an active investor in more than 400 YC companies. My journey began in music, I graduated from Berklee College of Music and moved to LA to pursue a career as a professional musician. That experience exposed me to the challenges bands and record labels face in promoting themselves. In 2010, my bandmate and I decided to tackle this problem by co-founding Earbits, a music streaming platform with a unique business model. With zero prior startup experience, we built the company from the ground up, securing backing from Y Combinator and some of Silicon Valley’s top investors. In 2015, Earbits was acquired. Building a startup turned me into a highly versatile operator, leading product development, marketing, sales, customer success, and operations. After exiting, I transitioned into mentoring and investing, working with hundreds of founders to navigate the challenges of early-stage startups. As a Partner at the Access Fund, I invested in more than 400 YC companies. Now, as the Founding Partner of First Peak Ventures, I continue to back and support the next generation of founders.
