Professionally, I am the WW Director of Selling Partner Support Operations at Amazon and lead a 20,000+ member team. Together, we have the opportunity to contribute towards preserving our Day 1 culture by being creative and relentless about focusing on building an echo-system for all our Selling Partners at an incredible scale. Over the past 24 years, I have had the opportunity to work across the globe in diverse industries such as Telecom & Media, Utilities, and Financial Services. From being a business leader to leading talent acquisition for Amazon and back to leading a global operations team, my journey has been about following my instinct and having fun while doing that. I believe in building a culture of force multiplication and inclusion to scale as a leader and empower others to drive high-quality, high-velocity decision-making independently. Learning from failures, willingness to be curious and to experiment, and enjoying what I do have helped me succeed. Most importantly, I am passionate about creating a psychologically safe environment for people around me where they feel comfortable to bring their authentic self to work! I have a Master’s degree in Personnel Management from the Institute of Management & Research (University of Pune), New Delhi (1996-98), and a Professional Diploma in HRD from the All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi (1997-98). One of the most gratifying experiences professionally was to have made it to the TOP 30 TALENT LEADERS of 2023, curated by Forbes India. Music and Movies are close to my heart— I have been trained in Classical Carnatic music for 13 years and am a total Bollywood buff.
