Scroll down for the work stuff... This is the fun stuff! Whilst I take my professional life very seriously, I have achieved a lot in my personal life too. I've driven a Tuk-Tuk across the Himalayas, from Kolkata to Darjeeling, to Kathmandu and Manali, and laid my eyes on Everest. 🏔️ I've been a credited extra in a horror movie and appeared in a Skunk Anansie music video 😎 I've climbed Mount Fuji, at night and in the rain, to watch the sun come up over Tokyo. 🗻🎌 I've jumped out of a plane at 14,000 feet on my own, having never jumped before, not even tandem. 🪂 I've been in a car chase through Bulgaria, held at gunpoint in India, partied in a cave in Bosnia and walked around Chernobyl. ☢️ I've been to the southernmost city in the World, in the land of the fire, Ushuaia, Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina. 🔥 I've driven across Brazil, from Sao Paulo to Iguazu, through rainforest and jungle. 🌳 I've set foot, albeit briefly and only by a few metres, in North Korea. I've flown an aeroplane, helicopter and glider, in real life and not on the Xbox. I play drums in a band, and I once sang at a festival. I ride a motorcycle. There's so much more to see and do, and we're not here for long! 😉

Head of engineering from day one! Largely because I was the only permanent engineer at the time. I had responsibility for the growth and management of the operations side of this successful technology reseller. Reporting directly into the board, I grew the client services team and was, ultimately, responsible for all aftersales operations, from installation, to maintenance, ordering/provisioning and billing, with our speciality being Ericsson/Aastra/Mitel telephone systems, cloud VoIP and internet connectivity.
I enjoyed the 13 years I spent at DV02 immensely, helping this business grow, dealing with some very high profile clients, and learning an awful lot myself. A successful buy out by Daisy in 2018 resulted in my change of direction and desire to start my own business.

Progression from Telecomms Apprentice to Engineer during my time at Ericsson (and later Damovo). During this time I worked in several fields encompassing traditional TDM telephony, Telephony Applications and the emerging VoIP technologies. I obtained vast amounts of experience in this role, leading large projects for customers, liaising with contractors and third parties. A good deal of my time was spent working on Ericsson's Voice Network Renewal contract for British Rail, leading the implementation of their major sites around the UK. I eventually took voluntary redundancy in 2002 with the aim of taking some time off and progressing my career in a different direction.
