Arina Cadariu MD MPH — Founder
I write The Science of Letting Go (to subscribe click here: https://www.linkedin.com/newsletters/7293949384176652288/), a critical theory project exploring medicine, biology, ethics, and the cultural forces reshaping how we understand health. My work weaves clinical science, neuroscience, epigenetics, public health, and narrative meaning prioritizing coherence over commodification, depth over data overload, and restoration over performance. My work sits at the intersection of clinical medicine, narrative biology, and the science of human agency where health is restored, not optimized. I’m a physician, educator, and founder of Health-in-Context, a consulting platform bridging medical science, structured retreats, and integrity-driven wellness design. I advise teams building health technologies, public health initiatives, hospitality frameworks, and living healthier longer programs that honor complexity, physiology, and human autonomy. My path began in defiance of broken systems. I escaped communist Romania at 20, crossed borders with human traffickers, and rebuilt everything from the ground up. That same clarity now shapes the way I challenge flawed health narratives, expose systemic blind spots, and design structures that protect dignity and meaning in an era of noise. As a former Yale Chief Resident and single mother (to an AI ethicist), I’ve led critical care teams, trained future physicians, and studied at Yale, Harvard, Stanford, and Freiburg. Over the past decade, I’ve also served in senior roles at internationally recognized medical-wellness institutions, guiding patients through supervised fasting, metabolic resilience, and personalized health strategies. Rather than flattening health into dashboards and algorithms, I focus on structures that make room for physiology, attention, dignity, and long-term renewal. I partner with multidisciplinary teams and leaders building: • ethical AI and wellness technologies • contextual longevity and metabolically literate programs • integrity-driven retreats • women’s health initiatives grounded in science and agency If you’re creating systems of care, innovation, or experience that require rigor, clarity, and humanity, I would love to connect.
