Twenty Four years of work experience in the travel space (aviation/technology). I have spent time in different job roles touching sales, marketing, account management, product strategy, analytics, and overall operations. I envisage myself as a commercial techno person. Sales and Marketing could be taken as my core strength. I being associated to global distribution systems, for most of my work experience (especially Amadeus), allowed me to directly interact and engage in business activities with different travel transaction entities (OTAs, TMC's, Direct Corporate, Consolidators, Leisure, Speciality Business - Student/Marine, other regional or small sized travel agencies). Global Distribution systems (especially with Amadeus) being in the heart of travel transactions, allowed me to engage, understand, introspect and manage the business needs with the above-said travel transaction entities while dealing with airlines, hoteliers, Insurance, rail, and car companies. I cherish the work experience I had so far and I wish to keep improving/increasing my present work experience within the travel space.
