About

Aaron Klein’s professional career has been marked as a builder — of companies, of teams, of organizational culture, and of software beloved by customers. In 2025, he founded Contio, the company on a mission to turn what gets said into what gets done. Unlike the AI notetakers that take notes nobody reads and send us all emails about it, MeetingOS becomes your brilliant meeting strategist, superhuman memory, and hyper-intelligent Chief of Staff that allows the meeting to flow straight into the work. Prior to Contio, Klein was the founding CEO of Riskalyze, which started in his basement in 2011. It rebranded as Nitrogen after Hg Capital became its majority owner in 2021. He led the company through 42 consecutive quarters of growth, scaling to serve tens of thousands of financial advisors, and twice being named one of the world’s 10 most innovative companies in finance by Fast Company Magazine. He passed the baton to his successor in 2023, and continues to serve on the firm’s Board of Directors. Aaron is married to Cacey Klein, and they are parents to an amazing Korean-Ethiopian-American family that consists of Spencer, Emma and Teddy. Together, they cofounded Hope Takes Root, an initiative to use capitalism to change the future for orphans and at-risk kids in Ethiopia. They reside in Eagle, Idaho, and absolutely love it. Aaron also sits on the board of Mountain States Policy Center, a bipartisan think tank advancing free markets in public policy. Previously, he was elected three times to serve as a community college trustee, serving from 2004 to 2016. Investment News has named him one of the industry’s top 40 under 40 executives, and the Wealth Management Industry Awards honored him as CEO of the Year in 2023.

  • AI notetakers have just made it worse — seven robots join the call, do nothing to improve the meeting, and just record the misery and send us emails about it.
  • MeetingOS becomes your brilliant meeting strategist, superhuman memory, and hyper-intelligent Chief of Staff — turning meetings into momentum.
