In October 2010 I joined ExactTarget as employee number 7 in Asia Pacific as an individual contributor in a sales role. Over the next 8 years, ExactTarget experienced massive growth and went public in 2012. In 2013 ExactTarget became Salesforce's largest acquisition to date and grew to become what's now called the Marketing Cloud. Between 2010 and 2018 I rose through the ranks of Salesforce from an Account Exec to Regional Sales Director, to Regional Vice President to become an Area Vice President leading the Marketing Cloud team for Australia & New Zealand. The Marketing Cloud business was more than just one acquisition, it was a seamlessly integrated amalgamation of acquired and developed technology, including; Radian6, Buddy Media, Social.com, ExactTarget, Pardot, Krux, Rebel, Dataorama and Demandware. I become extremely proficient at helping acquired businesses integrate to the Ohana (Salesforce family). In March 2019 I earned a promotion to Senior Vice President and was charged with leading hte MuleSoft business across Asia Pacific & Japan. Since joining I have built MuleSoft Japan from the ground up and reinvigorated the culture and performance of the business Asia Pacific. Together, the leadership team and I continue to drive one of the highest performing business units in Salesforce globally.
