• I am Chief Operating Officer and a Member of the Executive Board of SAP SE. Leading the Intelligent Enterprise Group, I combine my global responsibility for the development and delivery of SAP’s core applications with my cross-board area mandate for SAP’s global business operations.
• My board area, Intelligent Enterprise Group, drives SAP’s digital core development functions and product management, including SAP’s flagship product SAP S/4HANA and SAP Digital Supply Chain, and manages SAP’s rich industry-specific portfolio. My organization is also responsible for making SAP an Intelligent Enterprise by focusing on business process simplification, global IT and cloud infrastructure, product and services quality, portfolio and investment strategy, intelligent data and analytics, and value achievement through digital innovation adoption to the benefit of both customers and employees.

• Under my leadership, the Business Insight & Technology (BI&T) drives SAP’s continuous innovation journey by streamlining and rethinking internal processes and systems at SAP, delivering best-in-class real-time analytical insights across the company, and providing Financial Planning and Steering of SAP’s financial performance. In this responsibility, BI&T orchestrates the internal Run Simple initiatives at SAP, simplifying and renovating SAP’s key business processes and systems to match the company’s cloud and platform strategy.
• As a simultaneous financial and innovation leader, I am responsible for the close alignment between the business and development and ultimately, for supporting the execution of SAP’s 2015-2020 growth and profitability strategy.
• I have been most proud of our work to get all the different business areas at SAP together around the table to collaborate and work as one SAP - improving the way we run end to end, in the interests of both SAP and of our customers.
• SAP is a highly dynamic company that relies on receiving feedback directly from the source, that is, from our experts in all the different areas of the business. We set high standards for ourselves and our work and make sure that end-user feedback penetrates into our different business areas.

• During my time directly reporting to SAP Cloud Board Member Lars Dalgaard, I held primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This included direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance.
