• Akkuro are a Dutch FinTech specialised in cloud native core banking (B2B). They have offices in Amsterdam, Iceland, Portugal and Serbia.
• My role was to build the design team and creative culture and ensure innovative product design. I managed our designers, agency projects and recruitment.
• I worked closely with product and development leaders on product vision and strategy. I drove the user research and insights which contributed heavily to product decisions.
• As a member of company leadership I contributed daily to company strategy, marketing and sales initiatives.

• iO is a multi-national digital agency specialised in sectors such as fintech, energy, and leisure. I worked in the Amsterdam office where I led B2B & B2C projects for incumbent banks and insurers, financial institutions and startups.
• As a design & strategy consultant I worked extensively with clients to understand their business, their market, and formulate unique product strategies.
• I co-led 25 designers and researchers and was responsible for their performance, individual and team growth, as well as recruitment. I nearly always led teams across multiple parallel projects, creating the guiding product vision and strategy and overseeing their execution.
• User research is important to me, so I helped create of our first user research team and the integration of research into client projects (including pricing models).
• I led the creation of our Designer Growth & Assessment Model which saw great adoption and success across the agency.

• Bugaboo are the global leaders in industrial stroller design. As their first (digital) design lead I was tasked with building their design team and design-ops.
• I recruited, built and led a team of 5 designers. Together we created our foundational design-ops and design system, as well as a wonderful team culture. As the team grew I defined roles, responsibilities, and related performance review processes.
• I oversaw all of our product design projects and their implementation for both web and in-store digital marketing initiatives.
• I led our user research initiatives and evangelised the value of research and digital design across the business.

• My work at Booking.com contributed to the collection of 100 million reviews, and to this day helps more than 2 million properties operate their businesses worldwide. I performed extensive user research, led special projects, and helped create and elevate a stronger design community within the company. I worked closely with data scientists and developers to optimise products through advanced A/B testing and data analysis. I also learned a great deal about designing for scale, and designing at scale.

• Fusion are a premium design agency operating predominately in the banking sector. I was hired to be the lead UX designer for the redesign of an internet banking platform used by 33 Australian credit unions. The project was a success, and we were later contracted to design an integrated personal finance management layer. I worked on the digital transformation strategy for Bank Australia, and projects for other notable clients like Beyond Bank, The Tour Down Under, and several government agencies.

• Aruba is Italy’s most successful tech company, and my focus was almost exclusively on new product design. My largest projects were cloud.it and Aruba Supersite, as well as a special project to redesign Vodafone's entire customer email platform. I also worked closely with their marketing department to create attractive digital marketing materials for multiple countries and cultures.

• I spent the first few years of my career working for various clients around Tuscany. While my client list is somewhat unrecognisable to the average person, these early roles taught me the foundational skills that I use to this day, particularly with respect to tooling, UI, and interaction design.
