About

I am an expert in commercial strategy and organizational development, with 20 years of career experience and nearly 12 years at du. I spent much of my career working in operational management and administrative functions, such as Recruitment and Human Resources, before transitioning into my last position as Chief Commercial Officer at du. As COO, I oversaw operations in a variety of business units including enterprise, consumer, brand & communication, planning & strategy, government relations, and customer experience. The wide variety of responsibilities I have taken on throughout my career have allowed me to develop a diverse skillset and a dynamic approach to management and leadership. These qualities have helped prepare me for my current role as Deputy CEO of Telecoms at du, where I work in close partnership with our Chief Executive Officer, providing strategic support and managerial direction across the organization. I began my career with du in 2006, when I served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources. Four years later, I transitioned into the role of Chief Human Resources & Shared Services Officer before becoming Chief Commercial Officer in 2013. I have now been in my current position as Deputy CEO of Telecoms since October of 2017. Before joining du, I worked for seven years with Emirates Airline in a variety of positions, including Senior Industrial Engineer, Performance Development Manager, Manager of National Recruitment & Development, and finally Vice President of Human Resources. These experiences helped me build a foundation of skills and capabilities which I have carried and cultivated throughout the rest of my career. I believe that a company’s workforce is its most valuable asset, and I am passionate about strengthening our organization from the inside.
