A hustler at heart and one who goes by the gut, I began my journey as a nerdy coder and pivoted to being an intrapreneur in the impact space. Over the past 8 years at Samagra, I’ve helped build the firm from its early stages while working with multiple governments and ecosystem partners to strengthen governance systems at scale. In this journey, I’ve worn multiple hats across strategy, operations, people, product, and technology, translating ideas into impactful initiatives. While being a versatile generalist, I’ve gone deeper into AI & GovTech, Benefit Delivery, and Youth Fellowships, with brief forays into Education and Energy Transition. As Samagra’s first Chief of Staff, I helped shape central functions and business development, and later led the ‘AI in Governance’ portfolio, scaling tech-led impact initiatives like Kumbh SahAIyak (launched by the Prime Minister) and enabling Bharat SahAIyak’s acquisition by Ola Krutrim. After an enriching 8-year journey in governance consulting and organization building, I’m now taking a step back to reflect, re-explore, and identify my next professional bet. Worked with Ms. Geeta Goel, Country Director – India, as part of a 6-week externship. With her mentorship, I collaborated with the financial inclusion impact investment team on a series of dynamic short-term projects centered around the critical theme of financial inclusion for nano-entrepreneurs in India - a subset of micro-enterprises that has progressed beyond the scope of micro-finance but is not yet prepared to access traditional banking facilities to meet credit requirements. It is a critical segment that needs to be supported for the Indian economy to thrive.
