• Responsible for the monitoring and reporting of geopolitical and security risks inside of EMEA. I report to and liaise with a number of key stakeholders including the Regional Protective Service Managers as well as Business Continuity and Operational Risk colleagues. My primary objective is to identify emerging threats to assist with informed policy and decision making. Using Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) gathering, I am also solely responsible for a “real-time” risk dashboard which highlights countries with high risk of terrorism, crime, political instability and personnel travel safety concerns. Furthermore, I also provide written security assessments of planned and unplanned events, such as protests, Bank sponsored or attended events and security incidents, as well as undertaking site security surveys.
