  • We started as a small team to set up Database Marketing Fulfillment Team in Sep 2010. Task was to set up the fulfillment process of Citibank North America customers. Fulfillment process was supported by the third party vendor. Responsiblities include initially understanding the data, building data dictionary, setting up process steps, process controls for each step, testing, validating and delivering the output in accordance to compliance and over a period of time transitioning out the third party. Adequate documentation for each step was also necessary as to make the process not a people dependant process. Various modules for definitions used in the fulfillment process were created on SAS.The tool we used was SAS to fetch data and do the waterfall and segmentation and producing the output files with qualified and non qualified customers
  • Fulfillment for Retail bank customers was slightly different as the behaviour which customers have to perform lasts over 2-3 months after the promotion period.So a campaign typically lasts for 5-6 months for which we need to track the behaviour of a customer according to the terms and conditions of the campaign every month to find out which customer gets qualified or rejected ( with the reject reason mentioned).
  • We succesfully delivered on our responsibilities and campaigns and the result was growth in the team.Then Built the training material for the team and trained all the new joinees to speed up the learning curve.
  • Initially we started with supporting only adhoc campaigns and now we are providing support to evergreen programs also in addition to adhoc campaigns which were earlier supported by the third party.
