Ronit Kapoor — Founder
Ronit Kapoor - A Young Entrepreneur as well as a Finance & Banking Aspirant “Inspired by the entrepreneurial wave, I first ventured into building my own cloud kitchen startup, which I began at the age of 16, transforming my passion for food into a thriving business. Running this venture gave me a front - row seat to the challenges of entrepreneurship while sharpening my business acumen and deepening my understanding of finance, investments, and wealth creation. As my curiosity for the financial world grew, I pursued a BBA in Finance to build a strong academic foundation. To complement theory with practice, I began my professional journey with Kotak Mahindra Bank in Retail Liabilities, where I gained exposure to the wide suite of products a bank offers its clients. Eager to expand my perspective, I transitioned twice into Kotak Private Banking, where I observed how significant wealth is managed, allocated, and invested. During this stint, I had the unique opportunity to interact with the Managing Director of a leading Private Equity firm, who introduced me to the fascinating world of Private Equity, covering M&A, portfolio management, value creation strategies, and the crucial role of capital in driving business transformation. This exposure motivated me to intern with one of India’s most respected Private Equity firms, Samara Capital, where I experienced firsthand the rigour, analysis, and strategic thinking that underpins successful investments. It was here that I was encouraged to also explore Corporate Banking to build a holistic view of the balance between Debt and Equity in finance. Taking that advice forward, I secured an opportunity with the Middle East’s leading bank Qatar National Bank, where I gained valuable insights into corporate banking and cross - border financial dynamics. This journey, from Entrepreneurship to Banking, Private Equity, and Corporate Banking, has been nothing short of transformative. Every step has been deliberately taken to broaden my horizons, challenge my thinking, and prepare me for the future. Collectively, these experiences have helped me arrive at a clear decision about the career path I want to pursue after my Master’s. Passionate, driven, and always seeking new opportunities to grow, I believe my unique blend of entrepreneurial experience and financial vision will help me make a meaningful impact in the dynamic world of banking and finance.”
