I translate from Hindi to English and English to Hindi mostly. Have done some translation work from Bengali to English too. My translation of Chitra Mudgal's Giligadu was published by Niyogi Books in 2019, Bhairavi by Yoda Press-Simon & Schuster in 2020 and Sahela Re by HarperCollins India (2023).
As a publishing consultant, I work on both the business and the editorial side. I work with/ have worked with Penguin Random House South East Asia, Oxfam India, Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, IGNCA, NASSCOM, National Maritime Foundation among others.
I was the translations editor (fiction) for The Bombay Literary Magazine in 2023-2024.
I was also on the fiction jury for LitLive! Awards in 2024.
I offer ghostwriting, manuscript (both fiction and non-fiction) feedback, development editing, copyediting, proofreading and Hindi to English translation and translation-editing services. I also offer a combination of them and have handled end-to-end projects too - from editing to print in keeping with industry standards.
I am also associated with the Rama Mehta Writing Grant and was on the founding team since its inception in 2020.
