• I had undertaken this industrial internship as a part of my postgraduate studies at Queen's wherein I contributed on the DOES (Department of Education of Schools) framework of projects encapsulating the construction of the four primary schools in Ireland. My duties and responsibilities included:

• Maintaining a logically linked programme based on Client requirements using the ASTA PowerProject.
• Identify programme risks/ potential delays and propose mitigation strategies based on root causes.

• Coordinating and communicating to drive the sub-contractors to meet the required deadlines.
• Support the interface between the programme and the operational staff through structured meetings programme and weekly progress reporting.

• I was elected as the student representative for my course after winning an election poll conducted amongst over 150 students. My duties and responsibilities included:

• Providing peer support for students, including the use of online platforms.
• Advising students who they can see if they are facing a problem.

• The action plans implemented following course-related feedback and improvements were very well received by all.

• I contributed within the Project Planning role for 9 months as well as the QA/QC role for 3 months whilst getting an opportunity to work on two distinct projects in the UAE, namely the Amazon Warehouse project as well as the House of Wisdom - HOW (Digital Library Project). I spent most of my time working on the HOW project which won many awards as well as a Client recommendation as attached in the images.

• Receiving and raising material and work inspection requests from sub-contractors to consultants.
• Identifying any quality defects and raising non-conformance reports to mitigate the same.

• During the mega event of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, as a member of the flag team, I got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of walking out ahead of the teams, carrying the competing nations’ flags as a member of the flags team and then take to the field during the mid-innings break to coach mini cricket games in front of thousands of spectators. This helped me boost my confidence and enhance team working skills.
• As a part of the spectator services team, my duties included lining the streets, welcoming fans at the transport hubs, engaging new audiences at the city centre fanzones and meeting the spectators at the match venues. Interacting with thousands of fans improved my interpersonal and teamwork skills as well as my emotional intelligence.

• I undertook a summer placement role with Engineering Contracting Company, Dubai during my undergraduate studies wherein I got the opportunity to contribute within multi-disciplinary roles and on-site teams . My responsibilities included:

• Conducting and monitoring land surveying activities using total station and levelling instrument.
• Overseeing and controlling safety induction management and quality management on the project site.
• Liaising with sub-contractors, site engineers and MEP engineers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Measuring and calculating quantities from design drawings using Auto CAD, Plan Swift and Brava Reader software.

• I took the responsibility of being a key link between the engineering faculty staff and the respective students. My role was to seek out for student's views and attend meetings to communicate and resolve course related issues by campaining for a change.
