But the standard treatment of diet and exercise doesn't work for most with chronic obesity. With Fella Health, patients meet a board-certified obesity doctor to prescribe FDA-approved medications and join a lifestyle intervention program through our app. We are backed by YC, leading venture capital firms and angel investors.
• Hired and managed the initial team across product, engineering, growth, and medical.
• Created the product roadmap and led the delivery - building web, iOS and Androids apps. Achieving an average patient weight loss of 10%+.
• Navigated complex US legal and data compliance regulations to set up a fully compliant medical clinic.

• Developed a novel deep learning approach for detecting cancer mutations in sequenced DNA data. This was accepted at the Machine Learning for Health workshop at NeurIPS 2018. Built using Python, PyTorch, and Numpy.
• Reverse engineered Google Verily's DeepVariant (a detector for inherited mutations) and introduced a novel kernel design to improve performance.
