I have completed my 2-year MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB). I have a pre-MBA work experience of 23 months with Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) as an analyst. I also have Bachelors in Technology from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIITA), a premiere Government institute in India. At RBS, I was a part of Global Graduate Program and received training by Fitch in London. Post that, I worked with front office technology, liaising with traders in both, London and Singapore. I was a SPOC for the graduates in India and represented the cohort, while reporting directly to the CAO. During my 23 moths at RBS, I was awarded twice with SPOT award (recognition of best work in the department) and once with employee of the month award . I was also the youngest member of the campus recruiting team, working closely with the HR department in organising campus fairs and placements. At IIM Bangalore, I was the Events Head for Forum for Industrial Interaction (FII), the business club of IIM Bangalore. I led a team of 10 (5 colleagues and 5 juniors) for organising IIM Bangalore’s Business Summit, Vista. Vista’16 saw participation from more than 8k participants in events across various categories as Strategy, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Social, Data Analytics, HR etc. I also maintained a decent academic record as well as participated in various business and case competitions. My team was selected in top 20 of Zurich Enterprise Challenge, a global business challenge hosted by Project Firefly. We worked with a multinational client from Europe on it's Circular Economy Initiative. I am an avid reader and an equally avid Hollywood movie buff. I am a big time fan of Batman Trilogy and Quentin Tarantino movies. I am always up for a quiz on Pulp Fiction. I have been to London, Vietnam and Nepal. Next on the list is NYC, Philippines and Bhutan in no particular order. I also love playing squash, whenever I can find a court.
