• Women’s Cooperatives: Monitoring & Evaluation of 4 women’s cooperatives with 8000 women members in rural Karnataka. Ensuring the loans taken for women’s livelihoods led to profitable businesses and were managed properly. Ensuring training programmes are conducted for women in such enterprises to run successful businesses. Ensuring Sampark’s revolving loan funds were being closely monitored along with repayment capacity and credit capacity of the Cooperatives.
• Project Manager of the School education project, funded by Bayer Seeds: The project involved efforts to streamline education in slow learners from 10 government schools focused on enhancing reading, writing and mathematical abilities of approximately 1200 children from vulnerable communities in rural Karnataka. The team comprised of 14 teachers, where the curriculum design and intervention for slow learners, along with teacher trainings were coordinated by me.
• Research: Research Consultant with a multi country team of researchers from UK, Nepal and India studying adolescent girl migration and trafficked Nepali girls in transit through Patna (Bihar) for Flamingo Research Pvt. Ltd. Conducted in depth interviews with adolescent girls in Shelter homes, slum inhabitants in Bihar as well as migrant women at work in Delhi. Research support for adolescent girl’s research in Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan with the palladium group, UK.
