I worked in Child Guidance Centre as a HR Intern and carried out various works throughout my two months tenure. These included finding the procedure of recruitment, discerning the mode of training to the volunteers and interns, finding the ways of performance appraisal, conducting feedback session, maintaining the data of students in excel sheet, etc.
The various issues pertaining in NGO were looked upon and a questionnaire were given to the employees focusing on the various aspects of the organization’s HR Policies and Practices. On the basis of this, inference have been drawn upon that the presence of an efficient and effective HR policy is indeed needed to address all the various issues persisting in the NGO, as mentioned in the project report (which has been attached below).
