Dr. Rajiv Kumar Chaturvedi — Associate Consultant

I am currently working at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa campus as an associate professor. i worked at the Center for Sustainable Technologies, Indian Institute of Science, as a National Environmental Sciences Fellow. My Research focuses on the phenomenon of climate change. Prior to joining IISc, i was employed with HSBC Climate Change Center of Excellence, as a Climate change Analyst. My responsibilities at HSBC included 'to identify and analyze the climate change related business risks and Opportunities for the HSBC group and its clients' I received my doctoral degree from the Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science and my doctoral thesis was titled as "Climate change mitigation and adaptation in Indian forests". I completed my master's degree in Geography from Delhi School of Economics. My Master's dissertation was focussed on 'water management techniques in the City of Delhi' I have extensively published in reputed International peer reviewed journals, I have co-authored reports for United Naitons as well as for my previous employer HSBC global research.
