About

Peter Warren is an author, poet, broadcaster, and journalist and runs Future Intelligence (Fi). A speaker at the European Union, the House of Parliament, the House of Lords and the French Senate, he has also provided evidence and advice to investigations by the House of Lords and the UK Parliament. Reports on AI technology trends produced by Peter and the team at Fi resulted in invitations to speak at the House of Lords and the French Senate. The report 'Tainted Love: How WiFi betrays us' on cyber security commissioned by F-Secure went viral on the internet and was endorsed by Europol. Other reports have had similar success. In 1999, Peter gave one of the first presentations to the EU on technology ethics, a field he has been a pioneer in. The report, 'Can we make the digital world ethical? Exploring the dark side of the internet of things and big data' produced for the European think tank Netopia and presented to the EU led to an invitation to speak to the French Senate and this was provided on request to the UK's political parties. He is a former technology editor for the Sunday Express, Sunday Herald and Scotland on Sunday. Peter has worked for BBC2 as an Associate Producer, for the Sunday Times Insight team, the Sunday Times Newsdesk, the Sunday Times Magazine and the Sunday Telegraph.
