Tanu Grewal — CEO
I don’t just grow brands. I reinvent them, turning constraints into catalysts and challengers into market leaders. I don’t see brands as logos or products. I see them as living stories, capable of inspiring loyalty, shaping culture, and changing the way people experience everyday life. I’m particularly interested in how mission-driven organizations can translate complex innovation into compelling narratives that build trust with families, communities, and stakeholders. I’ve built my career rewriting those stories in every kind of environment, from Fortune 100 boardrooms to lean challenger brand start-ups. That sweet spot gives me a unique perspective: I know what “great” looks like at scale, but I also know how to be scrappy when the constraints are real, whether that’s limited money, small teams, low brand awareness, or navigating the complexities of established enterprise systems. At Whirlpool, I helped shake off the “my grandmother’s brand” perception and brought the flagship back to #1 in consumer preference. At Kohler, I digitized and modernized a luxury interiors business for a new generation of affluent consumers. And at ALEN USA, I’ve taken a company just getting started in the US and helped turn it into one of the fastest-growing CPG players in cleaning and laundry categories, delivering 5X topline growth, building eCommerce from scratch, and positioning us as a recognized authority on the multicultural growth consumer. For me, the real thrill is in transformation unlocking extraordinary potential from ordinary categories. That’s why I’ve led multi-billion-dollar P&;Ls, revitalized iconic brands, and built challenger brands that win against the odds. Beyond the executive suite, I serve on the boards of TiE Houston and the Global Football Innovation Academy, and I speak frequently on brand transformation, multicultural leadership, and preparing women for the boardroom. If there’s one constant in my journey, it’s this: I thrive where constraints exist, because constraints sharpen creativity and resilience. And I’m energized by opportunities in the boardroom and in senior leadership, where transformation isn’t optional, it’s essential.
