With over 25 years of experience, Aditya Ghosh is passionate about building businesses that are purpose-driven, customer-centric, and transformative. He is the Co-Founder & Board Member of Akasa Air, India’s greenest and fastest-growing airline, which expanded internationally within just 19 months of inception, setting new industry benchmarks in sustainability, employee engagement, and service excellence. Previously, as President and Board Member of IndiGo, Aditya helped transform the airline into India’s largest and most profitable carrier, redefining operational efficiency and organizational culture. During his tenure as CEO of OYO Hotels & Homes South Asia, he drove 2.9x revenue growth while enhancing customer experience and streamlining operations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for several pioneering companies, including The ePlane Company (eVTOL and drones), GreenCell Mobility (Electric bus transportation), Manam Chocolates (premium Indian-inspired chocolates). He is also an Independent Director at Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) International Airport and a member of Condé Nast Traveller’s Global Advisory Board. Through his family office, Homage Ventures, Aditya invests in early-stage, purpose-driven businesses such as Blue Tokai, Wholsum Foods (Slurrp Farm) and Burger Singh. His investment philosophy emphasizes support for women-led tackling real-world challenges with innovative solutions. He is also the Co-Founder of Ladies Who Lead (LWL), a member led network for women leaders. LWL provides a platform for women across industries to collaborate, grow, and lead. its mission is to expand the presence and voice of women in leadership roles and ensuring equitable access to growth opportunities for women-led businesses. Aditya is deeply committed to social impact. As Chairperson of the Social Enterprise Central Team of SEWA and Nirantar SEWA, he works to empower marginalized women across India. He supports LGBTQIA+ inclusion as a Board Member of the TWEET Foundation and champions neurodiversity as Chairperson of the Changeinkk Foundation. Aditya is a founder and member of the Board of Management of Ashoka University, India’s largest interdisciplinary and liberal arts University. A lawyer by training and a proud alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, Aditya describes himself as “ever curious.” Outside work, he is a passionate advocate for health and fitness, a certified scuba diver, and an explorer of art, food, and travel.
