About

I'm simply a tinkerer who dabbles in all things creative. I’m a passionate advocate for co-design, bringing inclusivity and equity to the forefront of product-making. I aim to forge strong partnerships by leading with curiosity and unlocking empathy through conversations about my lived experiences as a Deaf person. I believe to be bold is to make the uncomfortable – comfortable, to immerse ourselves in our wildest imaginations and to chase our dreams with a growth mindset. My design journey has brought me to work on a handful of fun and media-rich projects like Windows Mesh, and uncovered new XR experiences through design research. I’ve given facelifts to several Windows apps, and dove into creating detailed documentation for multiple UI controls for Microsoft’s Fluent Design System. Drawing from lived experience, I advise, consult and evangelize on best practices in digital accessibility across multiple products. Currently, I’m a part of an unique in-house design studio that serves as the heartbeat of Microsoft, giving our employees the best experiences they deserve. I thrive in many different areas of design including but not limited to: visual, interactive, mobile, product ui/ux, motion graphics, and 3D. I'm interested in a wide array of new media, where there are no sets of rules or limits, just hopefully good work. Whenever I'm not sitting in front of a computer, I'm probably playing sports, chasing sunsets and exploring the Pacific Northwest!

Ketaverse

Small Business Owner / Photographer

Aug 2017Apr 2021 · 3 yrs 8 mos · Greater Seattle Area

  • Ketaverse, a local deaf-owned business that specializes in portrait, event, nature photography and more.
  • Why Ketaverse?
  • Every now and then, something small - an image, a song, a smell - recalls for us a memory from the distant past. This is what we call a 'keta' moment. Each person has many of these unique moments; their own collection or 'verse' in their mind. We at Ketaverse want to help you transform those moments that define you (and the ones that make you smile) into "keta" moments — memories that will last a lifetime.
  • So — what's your verse?
