• Proposed an impact pathway approach to the valuation of health costs arising from thermal power plants ­primarily from air pollution. The purpose of the study was to obtain a credible benefit stream to help in the economic appraisal of renewable energy projects. An excel model was created to aid practitioners and policy makers in making quick and reliable estimates.

• Worked with a faculty member at the school in reviewing the energy deficit scenario in India and thepossibilities that alternate energy source offer for India. The project also looks at the current supply of conventional energy sources for India and the uncertainties associated with supply of the same. Have explored the causal relationship between electricity consumption and economic growth using a VECM time- series model at a sector level and am well versed with data integrity issues in the Indian context.
