I started programming when I was ~8 years old. I am a technology enthusiast, especially when it comes to problems related to distributed systems and performance. I have been developing and leading development teams for almost 20 years. In the last few years I have been leading Akamai’s Performance pillar engineering. I believe that a good manager should be strongly connected to his team. CTO, co-founder of IO River, Karateka, father of 5. I have an MSc in Computer Science (specialized in Distributed Computation) from Tel Aviv University. My thesis won the best-student-paper award in DISC Rome 2011.
