Neel Chakrabarti — Co-Founder
I operate across two lanes: one defined by the rigour of the UK legal framework, the other by the volatility of borderless crises. Clients do not come to me for routine representation. They come when a situation has outpaced process, and when judgment, discretion, and timing determine whether a matter resolves quietly or escalates. In the UK, I work on disciplined, process-led criminal matters alongside instructed solicitors and counsel. My work focuses on defence and advisory mandates in financial crime, serious criminal cases, and complex investigations. In this arena, my value lies in structure, credibility, and maintaining a position of strength within established legal frameworks. I am also retained when legal process alone is no longer sufficient. This work sits at the junction of law, intelligence, and crisis management, where financial exposure, reputational failure, political risk, and personal safety converge. I have coordinated multidisciplinary teams, including former senior figures from the Central Intelligence Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, MI6, and Mossad, in the resolution of high-risk disputes. These mandates have included large-scale asset recovery, the disruption of organised criminal networks, and complex disputes involving states, institutions, and ultra-high-net-worth families. My approach is grounded in Crime Science (MSc, University College London) and a foundation in intelligence-led policing. As an early practitioner of OSINT and behavioural mapping, I developed techniques for decoding criminal structures that earned a Borough Commander’s Award and were later demonstrated on the tv show ‘Hunted’. Today, I apply the same behavioural lens to legal strategy: how adversaries think, where they overcommit, and how narratives fracture under stress. I respect process, but I do not mistake it for strategy. A central pillar of my work remains the disruption of human trafficking networks. Operations across multiple continents continue to inform my understanding of power, vulnerability, and leverage. Retained for complex domestic litigation support and international crisis mandates where judgment matters more than volume. Discretion is assumed.
