About

The day my dad died from a preventable illness, my work stopped being theoretical. It became a commitment to building health and longevity ventures that scale responsibly; commercially strong, structurally disciplined, and trusted. Over 15+ years, I've founded and scaled four ventures across the UK, Europe and Africa, including taking a health brand from £0 to £10M ARR. I've built international supply chains, secured FTSE100 and government contracts, and led commercial expansion in regulated environments where governance and execution determine enterprise value. I've also seen what happens when speed outpaces structure. I've lost companies to fraud and to the hidden costs of undisciplined scale. Those experiences sharpened my judgement. Growth doesn't break companies. Structural immaturity does. The ventures that endure aren't led by the hardest-working founders. They're led by the most strategically disciplined ones. WELL PURPOSED I founded Well Purposed as a strategic scale architecture studio for post-Series A health and longevity ventures, brought in when revenue is accelerating, investor scrutiny is increasing, and governance is still informal. → Converting opportunistic growth into repeatable revenue → Building governance maturity that protects valuation → Systemising business development and partnership strategy → Preparing ventures for board-level pressure and expansion This is not early-stage advisory. It's structural intervention at the point where growth becomes fragile. The companies we partner with don't just grow faster, they grow in ways that compound credibility, resilience, and long-term value. THE PREVENTION ECONOMY I'm completing a book on why preventive health investment fails to scale - not because the evidence is weak, but because health system financial architecture makes prevention fiscally invisible. It maps where that is beginning to change: in payment models, data infrastructure, and capital allocation. GOVERNANCE & CAPITAL CONTEXT I contribute to institutions shaping health and innovation, including the Henry Royce Institute BioMaterials Investment Committee and the WELL Nourishment Global Advisory. My work has been recognised through a Queen's Award for Sustainable Development and B Corp certification. → Governance is a growth advantage → Founder capacity is infrastructure → Ethics protects enterprise value These aren't beliefs. They're patterns observed at scale. 📩 sara@wellpurposed.com 🔗 www.wellpurposed.com

Health & Longevity Scale Architect • Speaker & Media Contributor on Ethical, Investor-Ready Growth

Jan 2026Present · 3 mos

  • I speak and contribute on the structural realities of scaling health and longevity ventures, where innovation meets regulation, capital, and governance pressure. My work is anchored by a single conviction: the most significant commercial opportunity in health is prevention, and most of the ecosystem is still building the wrong case for it.
  • Drawing on experience building and scaling ventures across the UK, Europe, and Africa, I bring a founder-led perspective to what determines enterprise value once momentum accelerates and scrutiny increases. My commentary focuses on:
  • → The commercial architecture of prevention - why the prevention economy represents the most underleveraged opportunity in health, and what founders, investors, and system leaders need to build the case that actually gets funded, procured, and scaled.
  • → Interpreting global health and longevity trends through commercial and regulatory reality, connecting innovation, capital, and execution.
  • → Identifying early structural risk signals that impact valuation, governance, and investor confidence.
  • → Framing ethical scale as a strategic advantage, demonstrating how trust, discipline, and founder capacity shape durable performance.
  • → Cutting through hype around AI, bio-innovation, and longevity to clarify what is viable, investable, and defensible.

  • Post-Series A with revenue, but growth is becoming personality-led
  • Scaling faster than your infrastructure can support
  • Expanding into the UK/EU/Africa under regulatory and operational complexity

  • Most founders don’t need another advisor.
