• SEWA Rural (Society for Education, Welfare and Action–Rural) is a voluntary development organization involved in health and development activities in rural tribal areas in the Jhagadia block in southern Gujarat since 1980. The activities were initiated by a group of professionals drawn primarily from the health and education field. The organization’s work draws inspiration from the ideals and ideas of Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi.

• Some initiatives are just unique – they encompass the elements of passion, inspiration and enlightenment - firstly, embedding them in their DNA and then sharing it onto with their stakeholders! Well, Narmada Prerna Yatra organized by Serve Happiness Foundation is one such initiative.
• The core objective of the initiative is to inspire youth for social entrepreneurship by giving them unique exposure to unsung grass-root level heroes who dream and converted their dreams into reality through sustainable enterprises in the Narmada region. In line with the same, 5 editions of the Narmada Prerna Yatra drew more than 100 participants from across 15 states – all from diverse walks of life!

• I started my social venture 'Serve Happiness Foundation' (www.servehappiness.org) aimed at building and improving grass root communities by connecting passionate individuals to them.
• It is a registered non profit organization with an international mission to implore, invite and inspire youth to work towards nation building. We aim to direct today's youth towards a platform specific to their interest. Our approach is to take youth on an inspirational journeys (Narmada Prerna Yatra and Sabarmati Prerna Yatra ) and help them foster relationships by building network along the spectrum of role models working in the ecosystem.

The vision of Jagriti is 'building India through enterprise'.
• The facilitators are experienced professionals who are keen to join the movement for enterprise led development. The Facilitator manages a critical dual role of a coordinator and mentor of Yatris. The responsibilities of a Facilitator can be summed up as:
• A Facilitator is a bridge between the participants and the organizing team
• A Facilitator manages his/her group throughout the journey
• Helps them form a cohesive group of learning
• Initiates discussions amongst his group of participants
• Shares knowledge and guides interactions in the group
• Helps the participant make most of the Yatra by managing individual learning as well as collaborative learning through rich informal interactions between the participants of the Yatra
