As the President of DADCO Consulting, Inc. and CEO of the International Sustainable Resilience Center, Inc., I lead an Economic Development Consulting firm and an internationally-focused NGO that provide best practices, standards, research, innovation, education, and training for community-based economic development and sustainable disaster risk reduction, response, and recovery worldwide. With over 35 years of experience in economic development and over 20 years in disaster recovery and resilience, I have a proven track record of creating and managing successful projects and partnerships that foster economic growth and resilience in communities affected by disasters. I am also the author of "Where Do I Sign?--From Tragedy To Resilient Triumph", telling my life story and recovery from two life-changing incidents, intertwining that with 5 principles of personal resilience, available on Amazon. I am also an Advisory Board Member at the National New Markets Fund, where I leverage my expertise in economic development to support innovative and impactful initiatives. Additionally, I am the Founding President of DADCO Consulting, Inc., a 26-year old firm that offers consulting services in economic development, public policy, and sustainability. in addition, I am a founding member, and Chair of the Sustainability and Resilience Chapter, of the World Association of Public Private Partnerships Units and Professionals (WAPPP). I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University and have completed graduate studies at Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking, and am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute, where I served as Dean and Director of International Development. I am a Certified Economic Developer, Fellow Member, and Honorary Life Member of the International Economic Development Council.
