About

I am an Entrepreneur and Founder working at the intersection of Africa–China trade, investment facilitation, and industrial development, with a strong focus on capital mobilization, manufacturing, and job creation across Africa. I structure and facilitate commercially viable Africa–China partnerships that move beyond aid and extractive models toward scalable, productive industries.  By engaging investors, development finance institutions, policymakers, and private sector leaders, I help unlock capital, de-risk investments, and turn Africa’s natural and human resources into profitable, sustainable enterprises. With hands-on experience in emerging and conflict-affected contexts, I bring a practical understanding of what it takes to build resilient industries, strengthen value chains, and create jobs where they are needed most, particularly in manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, and agribusiness. As an author and public speaker, I contribute to discussions on Africa–China trade and investment strategy, African industrialization, economic sovereignty, and blended finance for job creation. I am a strategic commentator for China Daily, offering expert analysis on Africa–China relations and Africa’s role in global politics. With direct, on-the-ground experience in conflict-affected regions of Nigeria, I bring rare, practical insights into the continent’s challenges and opportunities.  My perspectives combine deep local knowledge with a strategic understanding of international dynamics, providing actionable and informed commentary for policymakers, investors, and global audiences. Selected examples of my thought leadership and commentary can be viewed here: https://www.chinadaily.com.cn/a/202601/23/WS6972cdeaa310d6866eb35507.html 📩 Let’s connect via email: olusoji.ajao@gmail.com Or LinkedIn DM - for collaboration, investment dialogue, or speaking opportunities.
