About

Why do some startups born inside elite universities thrive — while others quietly disappear? That question has driven my research for the past six years. As a PhD scholar at IIT Roorkee's Department of Management Studies, I investigated the post-entry performance of university-incubated ventures — specifically those emerging from IITs and IIMs — using econometric modelling (Stata 17), survey data, and qualitative tools (NVivo, SPSS). My findings are published in the Journal of Research in Marketing and Entrepreneurship (ABDC-B) and the Journal of Advances in Management Research. Beyond research, I teach. I've designed and delivered courses in Corporate Finance, Startup Financing, Entrepreneurial Finance, International Financial Management, and Accounting — across MBA, BBA, and B.Com programs at IIT Roorkee, Alliance University, and IILM University. I've presented at international conferences including Waseda University, Japan (2024) and IIT Roorkee–Arizona State University, USA (2022). I've also contributed to institutional quality through NBA accreditation coordination and two NAAC cycles. What drives me: making entrepreneurship education evidence-based, and making research on startup ecosystems actionable for policymakers, incubators, and founders.
