Part of development team for Teradata's SQL-MapReduce and SQL-Graph frameworks which facilitate advanced analytics on large scale data. Worked on several features such as in-memory data collection.
Led development effort on improving Teradata's Graph processing infrastructure on MPP database using Teradata's SQL-MapReduce for higher scalability and performance as compared to existing Graph functions on Teradata.
Improved performance up to 2.5X of several components of Aster's advanced analytics engine by redesigning native data access and processing workflow to and from Postgres database.
Distributed Systems team (July 2015 - March 2017)
Part of development team for cluster services and distributed system.
Delivered features for re-designing Teradata's advanced analytic platform product from monolithic to microservice based application. Specifically, I focused on process management, worker/PLSQL data service and service discovery on the distributed platform.
Worked on integration of the MPP platform with AWS, docker and kubernetes.
Led the effort from engineering side in demonstrating Teradata Aster on Hadoop during new product launch at Teradata Partners Conference, 2015.
