• Bira91 is a refreshingly modern beer brand. Imagined in India, Bira91 aspires to bring flavourful beers to the new world. Bira91 gave me a platform to gain a deeper understanding of the Indian beverage market. The company was my first exposure to an actual sales job, it involved selling beers and other beverages to vendors (restaurants, pubs & hotels). The Area Sales Manager position enlightened me in realizing my passion for sales. My role at the company involved managing the overall sales and marketing activities of my team and implementing strategies to achieve pragmatic goals derived from the actual forecasted market data. • The Ritz-Carlton Hotel is one of the most prestigious and luxurious hotel chains in the world. It is said that every major five-star hotel in the world has taken inspiration from the service, architecture or culinary standards set by this esteemed hotel franchise. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have worked with such a lavish hotel group. Accomplishing hotel management at one of the most highly respected educational institutions in India allowed me to work with The Ritz-Carlton in their food and beverage department. I gained exposure in restaurants, banquets and pubs located within The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore. By respecting the company’s high service standards, we were able to achieve greater customer satisfaction which resulted in high ratings and exceptional feedback. My theoretical and practical knowledge at Christ University assisted me in excelling at my mixology at the hotel. A deep focus on beverage management gained me insights into managing inventory control and maintaining strict protocols for loss & prevention within the department.
