About

As a psychologist by training and a HR Leader by trade, my mission is simple: to make work work for everyone. I have built a career aligning culture, performance, and leadership in high-stakes environments, moving beyond the traditional HR playbook to use behavioral science to lead with both head and heart. Currently, as Chief People Officer at Okta, I lead our global strategy to support the world-class talent securing identity for the age of AI. My journey has taken me from the UK, India, and Singapore to the US, with leadership chapters at Netflix, 10x Genomics, and Standard Chartered Bank. I am also a Chartered Occupational Psychologist (British Psychological Society) with a PhD in Psychology, and currently a member of the University of Hull’s MBA Advisory Board. To me, culture isn’t just a mission statement—it’s what we do when no one is watching. At Okta, our high-performance culture reflects a shared purpose, a commitment to winning and a "builders and owners" mindset. We have built more than a great place to work; we have created a space where you are empowered to do career-defining work. I’m a passionate advocate for women in leadership and am driven to create environments where people don’t just show up, but truly excel. I believe that when we align culture, performance, and collaboration the HR function becomes a critical engine for business success.
