Brand Marketing

EIR (Media & Content)

Jan 2025Apr 2026 · 1 yr 3 mos · Delhi, India · On-site

  • i joined gully labs at an early stage as the first content and media hire, when the brand was still taking shape; since then, i’ve built the content function from scratch and currently lead a 9-member in-house team; content and media have contributed meaningfully to the company’s journey from pre-seed to series a, alongside growth from ~26k to 200k+ followers
  • my role sits at the intersection of content strategy, storytelling, production, and culture; i own and execute media initiatives that move the brand and business forward by building systems that scale
  • 1) gltv: in-house production house
  • i built gltv as gully labs’ in-house production arm focused on building the capability to execute across briefs, from performance marketing assets to brand launch films gltv also functions as the universe where we develop and produce the brand’s original ips and longer-form storytelling
  • 2) content & storytelling at scale
  • i design and run full-funnel content systems across organic, campaigns, performance marketing, ugc, and original ip, built for speed, consistency, and repeatability
  • 3) cultural collaborations
  • i collaborate with musicians, rappers, skateboarders, dancers, and artists we genuinely want to support, prioritising cultural credibility over transactional influence
  • 4) brand collaborations and offline work
  • i lead content-first partnerships, irl activations, and btl initiatives that extend gully labs’ storytelling beyond digital
  • 5) beyond-role problem solving
  • in fast-moving environments, i step into ambiguous or high-stakes situations to unblock teams, solve execution bottlenecks, and maintain momentum

Plazza

Toolkit

Jul 2024Sep 2024 · 2 mos · India · Hybrid

  • i was looking for an out from music back into the consumer world; plazza happened very randomly after a chat with aman (2x past boss, told me he was building) and is looking to get a generalist (keywords: fundraising and MVP). founders were split between Bangalore and California
  • short but necessary

  • probably a bucket list work experience. insanely grateful for this one opening my eyes.
  • linkedin post—something about building an ecosystem of live music shows at multi hospitality projects. back then, I was deep into noor, producing and marketing gigs, so it clicked. read a little more. ranjan chopra—a very inspiring man—was behind it. the role? working directly with him to make great gigs happen. reached out. turns out, we were a great match.
  • work was challenging, exciting and fun—a while in, one night, completely blazed, it hit me: he's living the life because he made it. building leverage takes a great degree of foresight and ability to imagine beyond one’s boundaries
  • that flipped a switch. i got so inspired by him that i decided to walk away. to build my own leverage.
  • probably the most insane thing on my timeline. learned TONS. professionally enlightening, for the lack of a better phrase
  • broad thoughts-
  • 1) question for self-what do I do right now which takes me to my dream lifestyle by the time im 35
  • 2) question for self-what is something I'm good at and sells in the market
  • 3) sales is the most important function of a business
  • 4) numbers are ultimately just numbers. make sure they add if not multiply.
  • 5) organisation culture is like swimming. karke pta chalta hai, and it starts with you

Cuemath

Founders’ Office: Senior Associate

Aug 2022Apr 2023 · 8 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India · On-site

  • joining manan's team at cuemath was a big deal for me. fueled by my own frust with the education system plus the chance to work with a fast credible team early on in my career. I understood professional hygiene here. how to make sense when talking professionally and getting the best messages across. i wore many hats to make a real impact. most work looked like brainstorming with manan and working with all vertical departments to find middle ground. the team's passion and dedication towards quality education was inspiring especially around that time (byjus). transforming education is my long-term philanthropic cause, and cuemath put me on the right path to get my first step on. only love and respect for the whole company and manan.

Zomato

Product Management Intern

May 2022Aug 2022 · 3 mos · Gurugram, Haryana, India · On-site

  • looking back, i'm just stoked that my first gig steered me away from just commerce brought me closer to the world of consumer tech. lucky to have my first stint at a place like zomato. while there, i jumped into the launch of zomato live and intercity legends with an amazing team. started with the basics, but soon found myself diving into deeper work. i spent a lot of time to learn more about what makes a good product and what do different individuals bring to their own unique professional lives. First glance into the professional world 🤯
  • key takeaways-
  • Sunshine test (can you stand by your actions in front of ANYONE?)
  • Always 1% done
  • Culture is kung
  • Inspiring to see a thing with such net impact
  • Shoutout DG
