  • Over the course of about 7 years, as a contractor and now employee, brought two large-scale SCADA control systems online.
  • The latest deployment, accomplished in 25-months during the covid-19 pandemic, was a complete vendor change out. The realization of maintaining the existing system while building out a complete new environment with all of the required CIP controls was not without it's challenges.
  • Remote access solutions for the employees, contractors and vendors had to be stood up to support FAT, SAT, Integration, deployment and cutover. This was accomplished by deploying a robust VDI solution to meet the project needs.
  • This deployment was one of the largest the vendor has undertaken and involved some cutting-edge technology for collecting SCADA data. They had also never performed FAT, SAT, Integration, Deployment or cutover via a remote-support solution. In the end, the cutover process was virtually flawless.
  • I serve as the SME for all things Linux, Windows (AD, GPO, DNS, Server, SCCM), VMWare, as well as the local resource for the vendors highly-specialized product(s).
