About

Hi, I’m Rimjim. I create fashion your friends screenshot and ask 'Where from?’ Follow me for the real hits & misses of building Littlebox - one of India’s fastest-growing fashion brands built straight out of the Northeast. I was born in a small valley in Arunachal Pradesh - the kind of place where you could count the families on one hand and crossing a road in Guwahati felt like an adventure. Entrepreneurship was never part of the plan. My dad worked for the government. Stability was the dream, not startups. But somewhere between an engineering entrance failure and a mass communication degree in Punjab, I found my love for creating things that looked and felt beautiful, before I even knew that was called “fashion.” My first brush with business was accidental. A blog about a leather jacket led me to co-found my first company in 2013- Street Style Store (SSS) - at 21. What started with shoe curations in Karol Bagh turned into a 10-year journey - scaling a bootstrapped fashion brand to ₹80+ Cr in annual revenue and learning everything from product to logistics to manufacturing. But sometimes, growth comes with its own lessons. I learned that success can become your comfort zone, and outgrowing it takes more courage than building it. So, after a decade, I decided to start again, this time, with more clarity and courage. In 2022, I launched Littlebox, with a simple idea: Can we make fast fashion truly fast, without the waste? Today, Littlebox is a profitable, real-time fashion brand with a 22 lakh+ consumer base, 400+ people team, and the ambition to prove that you can build big, even from smaller towns like Guwahati. I’m here to share what I’ve learned (and unlearned): - Scaling D2C brands in a competitive, cluttered market - Building profitable fast fashion without overproduction - Creating from small towns for a national audience - And everything that happens behind the glossy surface of “fashion entrepreneurship.” Because behind every best-seller is a near miss. And behind every “win” is a thousand lessons that didn’t make it to a press headline. Let’s build honestly, learn publicly, and make something that lasts.
