I’m Dhruv — a software engineer who enjoys understanding how things work and helping them work better. I studied Mechanical Engineering at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, where my early interest in robotics gradually pulled me toward software and systems. What started as curiosity turned into hands-on work across different teams and early-stage products, where I’ve had the chance to build, debug, and improve software in production. Over time, I’ve become comfortable working across the full lifecycle of a product — from shaping user-facing features to writing backend logic, handling data flows, and taking responsibility for deployment and day-to-day reliability. I don’t see these as separate roles; I like understanding how decisions in one part of the system affect everything else. I care about writing clear, maintainable code and making practical trade-offs rather than chasing perfect solutions. I enjoy debugging edge cases, learning from systems that break, and leaving things in a slightly better state than I found them. I tend to do my best work in small, collaborative teams where ownership is shared, feedback is honest, and the goal is to build software that people can rely on.
