About

Decision Intelligence (DI) is an applied discipline that combines data science, business strategy, and behavioral science to improve how organizations make decisions - at scale and under uncertainty. Core Idea Rather than just answering "what happened?" (descriptive analytics) or "what will happen?" (predictive analytics), Decision Intelligence focuses on "what should we do?" - turning data and analysis into actionable decisions. Key Components Data & Analytics -- grounding decisions in evidence rather than intuition Causal Reasoning -- understanding why things happen, not just correlations Scenario & Risk Analysis -- stress-testing decisions before committing Decision Framing -- structuring complex problems so the right question is being asked Feedback Loops -- learning from outcomes to improve future decisions Human Judgment -- augmenting (not replacing) human expertise with AI Why It Matters Traditional BI tells you what happened. DI tells you what to do about it - and what the consequences of different choices are likely to be. A Simple Example A retailer sees sales dropping. BI says "sales are down 12%." DI asks "Is this a pricing issue, a supply issue, or a demand shift - and what's the best response given our margin constraints and competitor behavior?" In short, Decision Intelligence is the bridge between data and better decisions. I am building RQVST(www.rqvst.ai) platform, your DI partner, combining your internal data with external context and analytical rigor to help you make better, faster decisions.
