  • I contributed to several blockbuster animated films as a content creator and led projects to overhaul Pixar's end-to-end processes and pipeline for both asset and shot production. Collaborating with the in-house tools development teams and other production stakeholders, I analyzed, specified, designed, refined, and implemented an entirely new production pipeline, including rolling out a completely new animation system. Oversaw software and pipeline redesign projects with significant investments totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.
  • Developed numerous production tools that are still in use at the studio today, and co-developed the Wall-E robot shading suite, which enabled us to surface hundreds of robots within a few weeks. My work spanned various technical areas including shading/surfacing, dynamics simulation, procedural animation, compositing, and rendering, resulting in final elements used in The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, Wall-E, several Cars Toons, and more. I was recognized with four patents in the field of production pipeline software, published and presented at SIGGRAPH, and contributed to the VES Handbook as a co-author and co-editor.
