About

Integrating our print and digital capabilities to make ET’s coverage the most definitive and cross-media in the technology and startup space via ETtech.com. In my earlier role, I was heading the coverage of India's burgeoning entrepreneurship ecosystem and new economy for The Times of India. Have written extensively on consumer technology while tracking companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, Ola, Uber among others. Broken the biggest and most impactful news around tech deals, M&A and funding. Written In-depth, deep dive features on techology and investing from India and Silicon Valley, having spent time there. Tracked the Indian e-commerce space since its infancy. Have been able to capture early trends in the venture capital startup ecosystem through my pieces. Been at the forefront of breaking news and forming opinions during various cycles for 15 years. Have profiled/ interviewed the most prominent names from the global tech world like Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Sam Altman, CEO, Open AI, Travis Kalanick, founder of Uber, DST Global's founder Yuri Milner, SoftBank Corp's Masayoshi Son, Stewart Butterfield, founder of Slack, Apoorva Mehta, founder, Instacart, Naval Ravikant of AngelList among a multitude of other founders and investors. Conceptualised a weekly page for The Times of India around startups in 2015 and launched a microsite TOIStartups in 2016.
